How Breakfast and CBD Oil Increase Mental Clarity for the Day Ahead

Simple CBD infused Scrambled Eggs
Prep Time: 1-2min Cook Time: 4min Total time:5-6min Yields: 2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 Large Eggs (Ideally, Organic Pasture Raised)
  • 1 Tbsp Jambo Superfoods CBD Butter Oil
  • Salt (Redmond’s Real Salt is great!)
  • Pepper
Directions:

  1. Place your skillet on the stove top and turn on the heat to let it warm up. Heat should be somewhere between medium and medium-low, so it doesn’t get too hot
  2. Add Jambo CBD Butter Oil to skillet while warming up
  3. Meanwhile, prepare the eggs. Crack eggs open into mixing bowl with a generous pinch of salt and pepper
  4. Using a whisk or fork, beat eggs briskly for 30-60 seconds. The key step is key! We are adding air to the eggs to get a nice, fluffy finish
  5. Pour egg in to heated skillet. Keep the heat on Medium to Medium-low heat. As eggs begin to set, using a spatula (I prefer a wooden spatula) begin pulling the cooked outer edges toward the center of the pan, forming large soft curds
  6. Continue cooking; pulling, lifting and folding eggs; until thickened and no liquid egg remains visible. Serve immediately. Add salt and pepper to taste
    Tip: Cook eggs until about 90% complete, then plate. Eggs will finish cooking in plate.

CBD Infused Sautéd Mixed Greens
Prep Time: 3-5min Cook time: 8-10min Total time: 11-15min Yields: 2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Mixed greens (I like an Organic Baby Spinach, Kale and Chard mix. Choose any greens you’d like)
  • 2 Tbsp Jambo Superfoods CBD Butter Oil
  • 1/4-1/2 small Onion (I love red onion for their sweetness)
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Salt (Redmond’s Real Salt is great!)
  • Pepper
Directions:

  1. Place your skillet on the stove top and turn on the heat to let it warm up. Heat should be somewhere between medium and medium-high. Not too hot!
  2. Add Jambo CBD Butter Oil to skillet while warming up
  3. Meanwhile, prep onion and garlic. Finely chop onion and mince garlic
  4. Add onion to skillet with a pinch of salt and cook until onion becomes translucent
  5. Add in greens mix, mix with cooked onion and add a generous pinch of salt. (Yes, salt the onion while cooking then salt the greens when added). Cover for 2-3 min
  6. Add minced garlic, stir and cover. (Garlic burns easily! So we add it at the end). Cook 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Serve. Add salt and pepper to taste

CBD infused Cinnamon Oatmeal
Prep Time: 1-2min Cook time: 7-10min Total time: 11-15min Yields: 2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Oatmeal (I use Organic Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats)
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (I used unsweetened, but sweetened Almond Milk, Cow’s Milk or Water works too, depending on your preference)
  • 2mL Jambo CBD drops
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2-3 drops vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Organic Raw Honey OR Organic Pure Maple Syrup
  • Salt (Redmond’s Real Salt is great!)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Jambo Superfoods CBD Butter Oil (optional)
  • 2-4 sprays Jambo Superfoods Cinnamon CBD Spray (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries or your choice of fruit (optional)
Directions:

  1. In sauce pan, mix almond milk, Jambo CBD drops, Cinnamon, Vanilla extract and salt. Bring to a boil
  2. Add quick cooking Steel Oats, reduce heat to medium low and cook for 7-10min, stirring occasionally
  3. Towards end of cooking, stir in Honey or Maple Syrup (Or both, follow your heart!) Cook another 1-2 min or until desired consistency and serve. Add fruit if you desire
  4. For added CBD, add Jambo CBD Butter Oil if prefer buttery oatmeal or add Jambo Cinnamon CBD spray if you love that cinnamon taste
